Aluminum Sheet Terminology

Brushed aluminum plate: The manufacturing process of repeatedly using sandpaper to scrape out lines on the aluminum plate. The main process flow is divided into three parts: deesterification, sand mill, and water washing. In the aluminum plate drawing process, the special film technology after anodizing can make the aluminum plate surface generate a film layer containing the metal component, clearly showing every fine silk trace, so that the metal matte has a fine hair luster.
Aluminum oxide plate: The aluminum plate is placed in the corresponding electrolyte (such as sulfuric acid, chromic acid, oxalic acid, etc.) as an anode, and the aluminum plate is formed by electrolysis under specific conditions and external current. The aluminum plate of the anode is oxidized, and a thin layer of aluminum oxide is formed on the surface, with a thickness of 5 to 20 microns. The hard anodized film can reach 60 to 200 microns.
PS aluminum plate (advertising aluminum plate is also known as printed zinc plate, newspaper plate): an aluminum plate with a printed pattern on the back and a thickness of 025 or 03 material.
Mirror aluminum plate: refers to an aluminum plate that has been processed by rolling, polishing and other methods to make the surface of the plate present a mirror effect.
Embossed aluminum sheet can also be called aluminum embossed sheet: it is an aluminum product that is formed with various patterns on the surface through rolling processing on the basis of aluminum sheet. It is widely used, mainly in packaging, construction, curtain walls, etc.
